ARRANGEMENT ON THE USE OF WEB SERVICES CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this arrangement is to prescribe the matters concerning the terms and conditions as well as the procedures of accessing and using the Web Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") of the English version of the Partners for the Future Foundation as provided by the Partners for the Future Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Partners for the Future Foundation").

Article 2 (Effect and Modification of Arrangement) ① For any member, this arrangement shall become effective at the time when he/she expresses his/her consent to the terms and conditions of this arrangement.
② Partners for the Future Foundation may, if deemed necessary, modify any provisions of this arrangement, which shall take effect by being notified to the members at partners-korea.org
③ If any member is not willing to consent to any modification, he/she may cease to use the Services and terminate the agreement on the use of the Services: Provided, That if he/she continues to use the Services until after any modification takes effect, he/she shall be deemed to consent thereto. Article 3 (Applicable Rules Other Than Arrangement) Such matters as not prescribed by this arrangement or related Acts shall be governed by the general rules of law or related Act such as the Electric Communication Law, etc. Article 4 (Definitions of Terms) ① The definitions of terms used in this arrangement shall be as follows
1. The term "member" means a person who makes an agreement on the use of the Services with Partners for the Future Foundation and is granted an identification number by dint thereof;
2. The term "identification number(ID)" means such a combination of English alphabets and Arabic numerals as Partners for the Future Foundation, at the request of a member, grants him/her so as to identify him/her thereby;
3. The term "password" means such a combination of English alphabets and Arabic numerals as Partners for the Future Foundation, at the request of a member, grants him/her in order to ascertain whether he/she is entitled to any identification number and to protect the confidentiality of his/her personal information.
CHAPTER II AGREEMENT ON USE OF SERVICES Article 5 (Establishment of Agreement) ① Agreements on the use of the Services shall be made Immediately after an agreement on the use of the Services is established by clicking on “I Agree” to proceed with signing up process.
② An agreement on the use of the Services shall be established at the time when Partners for the Future Foundation accepts an offer of a person (including a juristic person or similar organization) who intends to use the Services. Article 6 (Offer of Use) An offer of use shall be made by entering the following matters in an application for admission on-line or by any other means as determined by Partners for the Future Foundation:
1. Name
2. Identification number
3. Password
4. Address
5. Home phone number(optional)
6. Cell phone
7. E-mail address
8.Other matters as determined by Partners of the Future Foundation. Article 7 (Acceptance of Offer of Use) Partners for the Future Foundation shall deal with offers of use under Article 6 in order of receipt, if not any special reason to the contrary. Article 8 (Suspension of Acceptance of Offer of Use) ① The acceptance of an offer of use may be reserved or refused if -
1. there might exist any technical impediment in the provision of the Services
2. the Name is not verified
3. the requirements under Article 6 falsely entered
4. any good morals or social order is violated
5. a member has previously lost the membership pursuant to Article 24 (2). Provided, however, that this shall not apply to a person who has passed one year or more after the loss of the qualification and has been approved for reapplication of the membership; or
6. there exists any other reason connected to any business of Partners for the Future Foundation which makes it impossible to provide the Services. Article 9 (Correction of Entered Matters) If any matter as entered under Article 6 is altered, a member shall, without delay, correct it on-line or by any other means as determined by Partners for the Future Foundation. A member shall be responsible for not making changes in his/her member’s information. CHAPTER III USE AND PROVISION OF SERVICES Article 10 (Service Hours) ① The use of the Services is, in principle, open throughout the year, 24 hours a day unless there might exist any technical impediment in the provision of the Services.
② The service hours of the preceding paragraph may be restricted after prior notification to the members if deemed necessary, such as periodic system check. However, under uncontrollable cases where it is impossible for Partners for the Future Foundation to notify in advance is exempted.
③ Partners for the Future Foundation may divide the Services into certain ranges, allowing a member to separately set the available time for each range, in which case all members will be notified. Article 11 (Provision of Information & Advertisements) ① Partners for the Future Foundation shall provide various information that is deemed necessary to members during the use of the Services through notice or e-mail.
② Partners for the Future Foundation reserves the right to provide a member with advertisements on the Homepage, service screen, SMS, E-mail, etc. regarding the operation of the Services.
③ Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for all the loss or damage occurred by communication or transaction within the Services. Article 12 (Erasure of Postings or Contents) ① Partners for the Future Foundation may, without giving any notice in advance, eliminate contents or communities, if:
1. a member brings disgrace on others or give any disadvantage.
2. a member acts contrary to good morals or public order.
3. a member commits any act which is considered as crimes.
4. a member infringes any rights or copyrights.
5. a member exceeds the posting period stipulated by Partners for the Future Foundation through the prescribed guidelines.
6. a member posts information that does not match the site’s original purpose.
7. a member places unnecessary or unauthorized advertisement or promotional material.
8. a member commits any other act of violating the law or related Acts.
② Partners for the Future Foundation may separately enforce usage guidelines related to the posting, and the member shall register or delete the postings (including the transfer between members) in accordance with the instructions. Article 13 (Copyright) ① The rights and responsibilities of the posts belong to the publisher, and Partners for the Future Foundation shall have access to postings within the Services.
② Partners for the Future Foundation shall not use the posts for any other purposes without the consent of a member.
③ Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any civil or criminal liability for any infringement of the copyrights and program rights posted on the Services by a member. If Partners for the Future Foundation has received complaint from another person for a member infringing another’s copyright or program copyright, the member shall endeavor for the indemnification of Partners for the Future Foundation, and if Partners for the Future Foundation is not indemnified, the member shall be liable for all damages incurred.
④ Partners for the Future Foundation may eliminate postings if the corresponding member has terminated or has been terminated for legitimate reasons.
⑤ All copyrights for the postings by Partners for the Future Foundation are reserved.
⑥ A member shall not commercially use posted information on the Services nor process or sell data gained through the Services.
CHAPTER IV TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT Article 14 (Termination of Agreement) ① If a member intends to terminate the agreement on the use of the Services, he/she shall notify Partners for the Future Foundation by e-mail or by any such means as designated by it.
② In the case of the preceding paragraph, a member may automatically terminate the membership and agreement on use of Services by clicking ‘Unsubscribe’ after he/she confirms his/her identity by entering name, ID, and password. Article 15 (Suspension of Provision of Services) ① Partners for the Future Foundation may suspend the provision of the Services -
1. in case that it is acts contrary to good morals or public order;
2. in case that it is any act which is considered as crimes;
3. in case of planning or implementing to use the Services for the purpose of impeding national interest or common good;
4. in case of using other’s IDs, passwords and social security numbers;
5. in case that brings disgrace on others or give any disadvantage;
6. in case of double-registering with another ID;
7. in case that infringes any rights or copyrights;
8. in case that hinders the use of the Services through any distribution of computer viruses and hacking; or
9. in case that commits any other act of violating the law or related Acts. ② Partners for the Future Foundation shall give notice of the reason and period to members when limiting or suspending the Services. However, under uncontrollable cases where it is impossible for Partners for the Future Foundation to notify in advance is exempted.
③ A member who has been notified of suspension of the Services pursuant to the provision of the preceding paragraph may raise an objection against suspension of the Services.
④ Partners for the Future Foundation shall immediately terminate suspension if it is confirmed that the reasons for suspension are resolved. CHAPTER V COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE AND OTHER MATTERS Article 16 (Compensation for Damage) ① Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any damage to a member caused by the provision of the Services itself.
② Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any loss of such profits as a member expects the use of the Services to yield as well as for any damage caused by any information which he/she obtains by using the Services. Article 17 (Exemptions) ① Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for reliability and its accuracy on the information or data that the members have uploaded.
② Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any loss of such profits as a member expects the use of the Services to yield as well as for any damage caused by any information which he/she obtains by using the Services.
③ Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any loss of the members in the use of the Services which is attributable to the relevant member.
④ Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any difficulty in the use of the Services which is attributable to the relevant member.
⑤ If it is impossible for Partners for the Future Foundation to provide the Services due to any natural disaster or force majeure equivalent thereto, it shall be exempted from all the liabilities related to the provision of the Services. Article 18 (Competent Court) ① The competent court in the place where Partners for the Future Foundation is located shall have jurisdiction over all disputes occurring from or in relation to the use of the Services.

‘Partners for the Future Foundation’ (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Foundation’) regards a member’s personal information as important and abides by the Act on the Promotion of Information Network Usage and information Protection. The Foundation shall notify a member of the purpose and use of the personal information provided through the Privacy Policy and what measures are being taken to protect the personal information.
The Foundation shall notify a member through the website announcement (or individual notice) when revising the Privacy Policy.
οThis Policy shall be effective as of April 1, 2010. 1. Types of Data Collected The Foundation may collect the following personal information for membership registration, consultation, service application, etc. 1) Types of Data Name, birthday, ID/PW, phone number, domicile, and E-mail address 2) Methods of Collecting Information Homepage 2. Information Collection and Use The Foundation may use the collected personal information for the following purposes:
1) Execution of the contract on service provision & Providing contents according to service provision. 3. Retention of Personal Information and Period of Use After the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been achieved, the Foundation shall immediately destroy the information without exception. 4. Procedures and Methods of Discarding Personal Information In Principle, after the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved, the Foundation shall destroy the information without delay. The procedure and method of destruction are as follows.
1) Destruction Procedure The information entered by a member for membership shall be transferred to a separate DB after the purpose has been accomplished (in the case of paper, separate document). It shall be stored for a certain period of time and destroyed according to the internal policy and other relevant laws and regulations. Personal information transferred to a separate DB shall not be used for any other purpose other than that held by law. 2) Destruction Method Personal information stored in the form of electronic files is deleted using a technical method that cannot reproduce the record. 5. Providing Personal Information The Foundation shall not provide a member’s personal information in principle. However, following cases are exempted.
- When a member has agreed in advance
- In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations or when requested from the investigating agency in accordance with procedures and methods prescribed in the Act for the purpose of investigation 6. Consignment of Collected Personal Information The Foundation shall not entrust a member’s information to third parties without his/her consent. If such a need arises in the future, the Foundation shall notify a member of the entrusted person and the details of the business, and shall receive prior consent if necessary. 7. Rights of Member and Legal Representatives and Its Execution A member may view or modify the personal information at any time and may ask to terminate his/her subscription. In order to view or modify the personal information, it is possible view, a member may confirm his/her identity by clicking ‘Unsubscribe’. If a member contacts the person in charge of the provision by phone or email, the Foundation shall take action without delay. If a member requests any correction in the personal information, the Foundation shall not use or provide the personal information until its complete correction. In addition, if erroneous personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Foundation shall notify the third party without delay and correct the errors. The Foundation shall process personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the member’s request as described in the ‘Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by the Foundation’ and is prohibited from viewing or accessing to it for any other purpose. 8. Civil Service on Personal Information The Foundation has designated the related department and the person in charge of Personal Information Management as follows so as to protect the personal information of a member and to deal with complaints related to it.

A member may declare any privacy related complaints that may arise as a result of using the Services to the person in charge of Personal Information Management or the relevant department.
